They aren't really GLI rims, they did come on some GTIs and the 24v VR6s, but those aren't true GLIs since the only difference between a GLS and those GLIs are the VR6.

So I need some tires, not sure which one to get. I've had a few suggestions from friends, and I tweeted Tirerack and this is the list of what I am looking at (the summer / DW versions of each)

BFGoodrich g-Force Sport
Continental ExtremeContact DW
Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
Yokohama S.drive

Just wondering if anyone has any opinions of these tires, but so far the Continental seems to be the best of the bunch.

Maybe it's just a personal bias but when it comes to high performance tires, I want to go with what the high performance car manufacturers go with, like Bridgestone or Michelin.

The only negative thing I've read about the Continetals is the sidewall is slightly softer then other super high performance tires, but comparable to normal high performance tires.

Tires and rims on.

The tires look stupid wide on the car, but not too wide in this photo.

And then I started removing all the stuff in the way to get to the head and timing chain, and then I napped.

Oh fuck, what have I gotten into... :s

Well guys, it's 3 weeks until my trip and I have a lot of fucking shit to do.

If anyone is free to give me a hand that would be great. I was hoping Unit would help, but he just bitches about random stuff and says I should have bought stuff at the nonexistent magical price that he and Conway somehow get.

Shoot me a PM or text if you'd like to help. 472 9567.
