Thank you, the only crappy part about doing things to the outside is I'm the only one who doesn't get to enjoy them driving around haha

You should give one of the mustaches to Dorkage so he can do that. Seems like that mustache suits a 'Jorge' more...

Well, Kinda update I guess you could call it.

Went out with Mr.Wilson today and he taught me some good tips about my D5000 so here's two of them I liked. The pictures he took make mine look like a point and shoot lol.

"Dürty Diesel" written in the soot on my bumper.

Little mud, little texture, little love..

My wide angle lens for my video camera came in today so I'm going to make some new videos of something with it and see how those turn out now that you can actually see most of my interior with it. Best $14.00 I've ever spent.

Did some paint work yesterday but I ran out of paint when I was almost done so I'm going to need more before I can clear coat it.

Here's the progress so far.

Screwdriver to hold the bumper away from the fender so I can sand all the way down into the crease.

Now begin 320 grit leveling

Like 3 hours of leveling later.. theres still a few raised spots I need to redo.

Primed

New lighting source cause it's too damn dark. You can see the primer better.

Painted with the rest of my tornado red paint. There are still some sections of primer showing as it needs another coat or two as well as some more leveling closer to the bottom by the door.

Perfect paint match. Auto Home Paint, you do a damn fine job.

While waiting for Emily to finish talking to her mom I noticed that my headlight switch illuminates even when its off.. I also noticed that its glowing in places it shouldn't be. Guess its time to order a Euro switch and hook up some front and rear fogs.

Made a video of the Evry Mod puffin soot. "Rollin' Coal" as they call it in internet land.

Just wanted to say thanks to whoever put my camera on low quality video.. that was awesome cause the video is in right shitty quality and I don't wanna reshoot it lol

Well, time for pictures of the turbo mess everyone has been hearing of.

KA BOOM!

You can actually see the trail from when we refilled the oil.

My intercooler should do this?!@

Cleaning some crap out, that's a lot of soot.

Intake manifold all clogged up

EGR valve is just dead, I'm going to grind everything out of this and gut it into my own ghetto race pipe.

Turbo manifold

Tiny little itty bitty turbo that created such a mess.

EDIT:
Uploaded the pictures I took tonight of the new Jetta.
Here's my donor I picked up for $600.00 from Doolittle. Thanks again

Getting it in the yard was something else, that tow truck really knows what hes doing, this was a tight ass squeeze getting it in the yard

About an inch of space between my fence post and the tow truck, that is skill (where was this guy for Andrews Jetta?)

"Ker Plunk" car took a dive, good thing its already broken lol

Got it in the yard and started looking at it all

Removed the perfect condition engine cover

Just a picture of the smashed Galactic Blue with the Tornado Red in the background waiting for its new parts.

Even has 3/4 tank of fuel, SCORE!

I'm thinking I'll fix the Tornado Red Jetta until I get the full engine out of the Galactic Blue Jetta and do a full engine swap because of the kilometers.

That's cause the Evry Mod broke the turbo.. HOWEVER! it was my own fault it broke, your only suppose to have it on at like 1000ohm and mine is probably around 400 lol (lower ohms puts more fuel in) thats why my whole engine shakes when I flip the switch. Straight pipe exhaust and some new Injectors will fix that right up then I can ditch the evry mod and have the same power but all the time.. same smoke too

Trunk, License plate will no longer vibrate.

Removed the trunk

Time to make it badgeless

Get the floss out

dental floss at one point of the letters

Use floss like normal and it works through the glue on the back on the letters

TA DA!

Yeah, I drive a Jet.. what of it?

Shaved, you can use lots of crap to remove the glue from the back, I'm using paint stripper since I'm repainting the trunk anyways.

Twin Turbo Direct Injection?!

Badgeless

Removed the Dub badge from the middle

Paint stripper kinda worked for removing some paint from it but I ran out.

I also started sanding down the paint on the rear bumper. This is going tornado red as well but im keepin the black trim. This time I'm going to paint the valences red too. Just like andrews car but uglier, black trim, and durty!

That's it for now, I'm taking a break for a bit. sweating my ass off outside just from sanding.

Finished sanding.

Had to wash the rear valence before paint.

Primed

Also did the front valence

Painted (I'll have better picture tomorrow when I finish up)

Put my new vent in

Put the non flaking headlight bezel in with new headlight switch that doesn't have fading paint

This speaker grille doesn't match..

Primed, painted, and satin clear coated.

Looks OEM right?

Started removing my rear speakers... Ahh Futureshop..

No mounting hardware needed with Futureshop, they just hold everything in with hot glue

Futureshop shouldn't be aloud to purchase Duct Tape!
