The tranny actually doesn't use 10w30, thats just what is listed to install if you go to MR Lube.

The green stuff you see in the picture is actually Redline Shockproof MTF. It's supposed to coat everything in a super thin layer of shock absorbing goodness.
It's just what King put in when they puled out the tranny.

Personally I swear by what came in the tranny from the factory, Honda MTF.
It's a purpleish clear, low viscosity liquid that smells like hypoid and makes the trany shift like butter

Not to be an ass Logan but, Curt's car may be "only" a 13.08 second car. But he drives his car everyday and it runs on pump gas not C109.

You also have to remember that his motor has about the same amount of money into it as say....the average Joe buying a few drums of race gas..give or take. That car will break 12s for sure, just a matter of having a decent run. Pretty impressive, I'd say.

Nice work Logan. Did you do the tranny work yourself? Where did you order your syncro's from? I need to order up a set soon, teg has a pretty bad grind going into 2nd.
